Can I get picked up and dropped off at different locations before and after my lesson?

Yes. Just let us know when you’re booking and we will be sure to do our best to accommodate you. We often have a request to get collected from school and drive home, and collected from home and drive to school.

Why should I have driving lessons from a professional driving instructor?

To pass your driving test, you will need to know how to control the vehicle, driving on streets and highways, low speed manoeuvres like parking and also road and safety rules. Having lessons from a professional instructor will allow you to understand all the items that you will be tested on as well as learn tips to keep you safe after obtaining your licence.

Do I need to have prior driving experience before booking a lesson?

Whether you have never driven before, have some driving experience or you have lots of experience and ready to book your test, you can confidently book a lesson and we will tailor the lesson to your needs.

My parents are painful and want to come along. Can they?

Yes. We are happy to have a parent or sibling come along and quietly observe from the back seat of the car.

How many driving lessons will I need?

After your first lesson, we will be in the best position to assess how many driving lessons you should take, based on factors such as:

  •         Any Previous driving experience
  •         Confidence level
  •         How quickly you are able to learn and master driving skills and techniques

We all learn at different speeds, and it is important to make sure you understand on what you’ve been taught in your driving lessons, not just for your driver’s test, but to be a safe and competent driver.

What do I need to bring to a driving lesson ?

You will need a valid Australian learner’s permit or valid International driver’s licence and your log book to each lesson. If you are using the MyLearner App you will need to bring your phone (this will be placed in the glove box for the duration of the lesson). You must also be prepared to have fun!.

Should I use the MyLearner App or a physical logbook?

It’s up to you but the MyLearner App is very popular with learner drivers. Check out the VicRoads website here for some information on logbooks
